Woodlyn Crossing is a community of 446 homes made up of townhomes, singles and twins located in Langhorne PA, a short distance from the City of Philadelphia. Original construction started in 1976 and was completed in the late 1980's with the build out of section four, formerly known as Hunters Knoll. Formally known as a Planned Unit Residential Development (PURD), Woodlyn Crossing is the first development of its kind to be approved in Bucks County. It required a special zoning ordinance as its requirements are unique: Specifically, it promotes the cluster of building lots, giving priority to open space and the saving of as many trees and fields as possible. Property owners are issued a fee simple deed, which describes the dimension of the lot they own plus the fractional share of open spaces proportioned equally to every lot or property owner. The open spaces, or common grounds, and their amenities, are managed through an elected Board of Directors. Woodlyn Crossing has one of the few "self-managed" Homeowner Associations, utilizing a paid Association Manager who employs a staff of part-time employees and contractors. Our facilities include a full service Swim Club, tennis courts, a series of well maintained "tot lots", as well as walking trails and ponds for fishing in the warmer weather. The Association Offices are located on site, at 695 Valley Stream Circle. Hours are 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday. Our Phone number is 215-750-1103, and our Fax number is 215-750-0546, and our email address is woodlynoff@aol.com
